3 months agoKeep their nails short. You can also get nail caps that glue on. Cats nails shed their outer layer so the caps will come off on their own. This will help prevent injury when they do fight.
We have an older territorial cat that stalks the younger cat we brought home a year ago. The older cat is a chonk and always gets his ass kicked but keeps coming back.
We have a litter box and water in the basement so the older cat sleeps down there some nights.
For the most part they are both in gen pop and it is slowly getting better.
South Africa gets snow at higher elevations in winter. That isn’t really news is it? Or is this an unusual event for some reason?
