Tax wealth, not work, problem solved.

Tax wealth, not work, problem solved.

Fascinating, thank you for the insight.

Why? Why is Canada engaging in a trade war started by the states, for their own selfish reasons? I swear Trump is just a Psy-op for a much broader plan.

That is absolutely not true and just part of the red-pills psyop to radicalise young men, who don’t actually understand what the welfare state is, or why it’s important. Kindly go listen to Joe Rogan on your next jog off a cliff.

Yeah like after World War 2, when the government imposed The New Deal and the economy worked and the middle class were able to exist and have a family with a single full time job whilst having 90% corporate tax for higher end earnings?
Or, during Reagan and Thatcherism when the government imposed the neoliberal nightmare that gave us the 2008 crash and put every single country in the world into debt we have never been able to escape and defined the future of the next 3 generations after GenX?
What about during Covid, when the world governments imposed “relief” through gifted billions to the ruling class as subsidies they never paid back?
The government imposed all of these. It’s not freedom if there is no class mobility. Dynastic wealth is monarchy. Lick the shit off the boots, like a good citizen and jog on.

The dollar is the global reserve currency, so yes, by default we focus in terms of US dollars. It is also American globalisation which created these people. There’s this cool new thing thing called History we in Europe study, it allows for current events to be contextualised. It’s a pretty hip thing with the kids, you can learn more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History.
Edit: There should not ever be an
average American billionaire.

Yeah, so imagine. Wild idea here, we tax the rich. To increase the income of the government. Who can invest in the working and middle class, who can then have disposable income to stimulate the economy. Just a crazy theory I have there that has been shown to work every time it’s been implemented. Crazy right? It’s been 50 fucking years, it doesn’t trickle down Reagan.

Yeah and all of the global corporations worth hundreds of billions that do business there everyday without paying tax and obfuscating revenue through being “based somewhere else.” We need a global corporate tax. Plain and simple.

Or, we could stop making excuses for not taxing the rich and… Tax the rich.

Or, just tax the rich.

Who is?

But it isn’t incongruent. Because Depardieu and Pierre were not honoured for, or, in-spite of their crimes. Their crimes were not public knowledge at the time of their inductions. Depardieu is probably going to be stripped from the Legion d’Honneur anyway, unless his appeal goes through. Pierre is dead, so cannot stand trial to be found guilty. Implying congruence supposes a direct knowledge, or tacet endorsement of those crimes… So, it’s not incongruent for Gisele to be inducted into Legion d’Honneur, because Depardieu and Pierre were not knowingly inducted for, or in-spite of their crimes. Which makes this irony, dressed up as an institutional failing, which it is not.

That’s a lot of inference you’re expecting people to make from : Legion d’Honneur has previously had inductees guilty of crimes that Gisele Pelicot testified against. Je ne sais pas, bro. I don’t feel like anyone is calling for other highest honours in the land to be belittled, or that the list of previous recipients means anything in relation to the significance conveyed by those awards today. Just seems like “well akshually…” without any real point. Especially since Depardieu is awaiting an appeal for a crime, which if it fails, will have him stripped of his title and Pierre is dead. You cannot posthumously strip someone the title. So, it’s much ado about nothing.

Yes and Jimmy Saville was Knighted, Roman Polanski has an Oscar and the inventor of leaded gasoline was awarded a Nobel Prize for his creation. What is your point exactly?

Yeah and Neither NATO or Just the US gave a shit about Hussein, or The Shah, or any of the human rights abuses perpetrated by their friendly dictators until they were a convenient excuse to remove them.
ring ring I think it’s for you.

It was the United States, not all of NATO
It was because Gadaffi removed the Dollar as Libya’s reserve currency and went back to gold

Road signs, like Stop signs, Yield signs. They all use lead as a primary ingredient, I think Chromium is the other metal they use. It’s durable and the Matte-Metallic finish makes the sign easy to read in all lightings. You can still get lead as an additive to oil-based paints, but it’s heavily restricted. You’d have to have a specific use case to import it, it’s called flake white. Metal additives change the texture and reflective properties of the paint, lead is mostly swapped out for zinc and titanium now though.

Newspaper created just before the invasion, no physical copy, only posting online. Only through English, consumed primarily through American Online platforms and now has a presence on the fediverse. Nah mate, I’m not an Orc, I’m just not blind.
