You are right. Official Live ISOs have gui installers, I tried it once and in my opinion it lacks some features. I wanted perfect solution for me which also can be solution for someone else. I think my script contain a lot of useful stuff. Ive seen theres way to modify gui installer, but it didnt came to my mind anytime. Writing this script gave me alot of bash knowledge which for suer will be useful. Thanks for reading this :D.

Script is fully interactive, you can choose not to encrypt root partition. You can try it out but don’t press yes on last page because it could start installation, every option is tui is just setting variable.

hello after a break i came back to writing this script and its actually works… the problem was that i mount /dev/sda1 to /boot/efi and not /boot, i think it needs to be in the same folder with kernel because now it works and all i have to do is actually nothing…

I had similar problem. I started with fl studio and then changed windows to linux and tried so hard to make fl work on arch, but it was too glitchy. I tried alot: ardour, tracktion waveform, bitwig demo and almost every foss daw and ended at reaper, when u understand it is kinda better than fl, u can make really heavy customization, dont like 1 click note insert? Change it in preferences to what u like, its the same problem with every program, start learning and u will find it easy and fun to use, for plugins as some other people in this comment section said, yabridge, i use amplitube 5 for guitar with it.

Thank you for your comment, maybe people wont read 1:1 code, atleast they will learn how this kinda works, because now they just install things, but looking at templates they can actually understand its kinda simple script and get the idea of how it works. Also i wasn’t comparing exactly xbps main void repos to AUR but overall xbps-src to aur, which can be similar because people can share templates, anyway we should still understand what package manager does and what download scripts are doing. Also void has runit so this mean u have to get more simple programs to run system like seatd dbus and etc. So overall i 2 arguments of void being better in understand of OS is actually knowing how to maintain packages and how system works from boot. Anyway i understand it is your opinion, all i can is tell u my opinion.

Freshly rebooted into tty and used free and used: 618876, the thing that takes the most ram is NetworkManager with 17M of ram

Maybe try void linux? More diy and little bit harder cause of runit so u will learn how booting process works maybe, void is really stable but still rolling release

In linux disks are more like files, do lsblk -f to see drives and their filesystems, ssds and hdd uses something like /dev/sda and nvme uses /dev/nvme0n1, u can try sudo mount windows_disk_name /mnt and then files from windows disk should be in directory /mnt

thunar (file manager) has built in option to bulk rename, just sudo pacman -S thunar
