Global health officials continue to press Moscow for full transparency

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is investigating reports of a second possible pneumonic plague case in Siberia after the death of a laboratory worker who was allegedly exposed to the illness.

Global health officials are pushing Moscow for transparency following the death of 28-year-old laboratory technician Darya Shipilova at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute in Shelekhov.

Shipilova was admitted to hospital late last month with acute respiratory failure and placed on a ventilator before passing away on 2 October.

Local media reported that she was exposed to a dangerous pathogen after accidentally shattering a sample tube during routine laboratory work.

I think it was coined when the USSR used Tanks to suppress protests in Hungaria in 1956, further solidified when China used Tanks to commit a massacre in 1989 protests most notably Tiananmen Square which was broadcast live to the entire world at the time.

So, no, it never described “real” communists. Just dictatorship advocates.

Weird how '56 Budapest never came up ever.

“Communist” was also a meaningless pejorative until an entire generation aged out, along with their tired Cold War McCarthyist bullshit.

You’re just a propagandist with absolutely no substance.

A pejorative can mean whatever you want it to mean, because it’s a meaningless word.

Judge for yourself. My words are my own, and they are defined in a dictionary.
