Plague is treated with standard antibiotics and supporting measures when needed. There’s no need for anyone coming from Moscow for something like this.

Existing antibiotics may not be able to treat it, because it may have been engineered or otherwise bred to defeat existing drugs. Resistant bacteria are increasingly common in our hospitals.
