I think Putin will, but only when he’s finally on the ropes with Ukraine or internally.
Then he’ll attack NATO in order to provoke a response - the the prospect of full-scale war with NATO (and full mobilisation of the sons and daughters of Moscow and St. Petersburg) will allow Putin to secure a quick peace treaty that will likely force him out of Ukraine, but since it wasn’t Ukraine that beat him, but ‘all of NATO’ he’ll be able to avoid the window himself.
