I’ve seen Palestinians complaining about Hamas. I’ve never seen a Jew complaining about Israel. But fair enough, if you are a Jew and you do condemn Israel then you’re all good in my book. I’m talking about those who support Israel in what they’re doing, which from where I’m sitting looks like it’s more than 90%.
You are closing your eyes and ears then, there are so many different instances of this. Here is NPR talking about some of the divides in their community from just this week.
One side, anti-genocide, the other side, pro-genocide. But the pro-genocide frames it as “supporting the jewish state” and laments, “why can’t we just come together?”
Gee, I wonder, is it because you’re supporting a state that’s actively engaged in a genocide? And every time they bring up that point, you scream at them? Conflating disagreeing with your hypocritical stance to “disturbing the peace of the household?”
Just reminds me of the gulf that lies between myself and my trump-loving parents. Supporting a fascist state or a genocidal state are hard lines, they cannot be tolerated. Yet we’re asked to tolerate those who support these intolerable actions. It’s framed as “keeping the peace,” and “for the good of the family,” but what it really is, is asking one side to tolerate the intolerable, so that the other side can experience some false form of peace. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. famously noted, the absence of conflict is not the same as peace.
One side is being asked to submit to the intolerable actions of the other, while the other gives up nothing. This hypocritical stance just breeds resentment, dissolving the relationship as surely as a vat of acid would a piece of meat. No arguing required.
Do you only have these hateful feelings about jews who support it, or do you hate everyone else who support it just as much? I don’t see why this has anything to do with jews specifically, since the majority of jews in the world, has absolutely nothing to do with Israel.

AFAIK that statistic is about Israelis themselves, not Jews worldwide.
