The defence deal signed at the UN General Assembly also re-affirms Denmark’s sovereignty over its semi-autonomous Arctic territory.
Stupid and dangerous. They should have said no.
The US had previously been allowed to build bases there, Trump just didn’t know that. Denmark gave him a win that is none, really, in return for him being quiet about Greenland. We’ll see how long that’ll last.
