I think rudimentary biological life or some similar classification exists in numerous locations (moons with oceans under their crust) and will eventually be found to be semi common just needing a handful of ingredients and factors. (I.e. guessing most planetary systems have one or two)

I think natural phenomena impacts life ability to evolve intelligence, so that is less common. possibly rare. but rare on a universal scale could still mean hundreds of millions…

I think advanced intelligence is more rare and hard to detect as it can transcend physical form and not have to be bothered to interact unless “they choose to”.
