If it is controlled and supervised time outside then I don’t see an issue. Free roaming cats are what cause damage.
Fully agreed. Would she catch birds, I would have serious issues with that. But her being an inside cat for most of her life plus a lamp on her collar, this thankfully ain’t an issue at all. I track her all the time she’s outside, so I know exactly at which neighbour’s garden she is at sitting in front of mouse holes and can summon her at will (which she knows is a call for treats so she listens to it closely).
