You could also use 2 lines for age gap that keep adjusting based on current age, at least for the lower values.

Well ACTUALLY, different jurisdictions have different ages of consent. The laws are pretty clearly detailed. Just like child marriage is legal in many places even in the U.S. (with parental permission), and just like it’s legal for billionaires to not pay taxes. Of course that doesn’t mean it’s morally correct. An 18yo with a 50yo is morally dicey although legal. A 17yo with 19yo is legal or not depending on where you are. What’s morally correct? It depends a lot more on the situation than the local.
yeah so if the age gap is too large compared to the other party. if you go with these dictionary definitions, you’d have to argue for middle aged people being able to have sex with underage teenagers cus the age of consent is under 18 in most places which is fucked up

it’s crazy that you’re saying i need a therapist when i’m even more restrictive with this than most of the world, including my own country. like i implied earlier, i’d advocate for the age of consent to be increased to 18. it’s under that in most of the world
