Imagine you woke up tomorrow and found out you’d been in a Truman Show dome your entire life. How would you feel about the fact that they made the Jim Carrey movie and put it where you could see it?
Well, anyone watching would already know I’m fucked in the head. So I doubt they’d be surprised when I went on a killing spree for having been violated like that
id b like … those muthafukas
If I’d be honest, probably the first thing that I would feel is embarrassment, thinking that the thousand time plus that I beat the meat would look like the movie Shame from 2011
Where’s my love interest? Why is everything setup to be so shitty in terms of geopolitics and the economy and such? And finally, the viewers better be laughing at my jokes at least.
I used to have same imagination in childhood. Interesting thought, and wish it would be so. At least that would explain why everything is turning dark…
Too boring. Would have been cancelled when I was a boring little kid. Who’s going to watch someone play with Legos for 16 fucking hours straight?
I’ll be so excited to get compensation
Ceiling cam is watching you masturbate.
It’s crazy to think this was 10 years ago
It would be, anyway. I have one for review and improvement.
I’d apologize to the viewers that the show has been so dull. I’d probably blame the writers, they obviously hired utter hacks.
If I found out today I was in a show, I’d do everything in my power to end the lives of everyone tangentially involved. It would mean my life was already meaningless, so there’s no risk in throwing it away.
When the world shits on your neck, go out hard
I’d feel really bad for the actors they made me watch die. I’d also wonder how they got the cameras to follow me across the world (twice) without me noticing.
What? You think the nanobot drones disguised as vaccines are new thing?
I’d wonder what happened to the writers since the writers strike in 2007. It’s like they gave up
I was raised religious. I always felt that if there really was a God, I existed solely to be a subject of cruel comedy for it. I think if I found out I was being Truman Show-ed, I’d immediately feel vindicated. Then I’d feel incredibly nihilistic and let’s just say I wouldn’t bother trying to escape or let the show continue.
How would you feel about the fact that they made the Jim Carrey movie and put it where you could see it?
I don’t think the Morisetteian irony of watching a movie that’s equally fucked up in its premise as you found out your life is would move the needle much. The rug would’ve been pulled out from under you and this wouldn’t cause more than a wry bored smile a couple of weeks later when the shock has subsided a bit.
I’d be like “who the f made it like this and who the f watches that”
