Why. The hell. Is this even being considered, let alone put into practice? This could cause the next pandemic ffs
We talked about this in my genetics class last year. The professor tried to stress that targeting a group of humans with a dangerous virus is risky, because they evolve rapidly and can infect any group of people beyond the targeted ones.
The fact that he had to stress it makes me lose hope for the future of humanity
