Most folks don’t have your privilege and are trapped in that shitty fucking hell hole. It’s great that you made it out but the majority of those who are suffering have no such option.
I do recognize I’m lucky and it’s true that the majority don’t have the option, but I think a lot more do than realize it, especially if you’re willing to fill a need for labor in a country that’s got a shortage.

I said “Fuck it” and left. Took a 75% pay cut and left everything behind. The system dies when people abandon it.

I wouldn’t call taking a 75% pay cut ‘privilege’. That’s a big sacrifice. But I get your point.
