Remember that lady that ran a kid over in the UK and then escaped to the US? They refused to send her over to stand trial for her crimes.

The US does have an extradition treaty with the UK but they also refuse to adhere to it. Remember that lady that ran a kid over in the UK and then escaped to the US? They refused to send her over to stand trial for her crimes.
She was a diplomat’s wife and possibly also an agent for one of the three-letter agencies. It was still unjust, but covered by different treaties.
Doesn’t this just mean the UK is more likely to refuse US requests in future
