Why would any half-way competent strategist in Iran ever want to kill the man who is doing the most to defeat Iran’s enemy?!
I mean, sure, in Iran like everywhere else there are plenty of simpletons who only understand war at the 5-year-old level of “we have to do to them what they did to us”, so those will say (or be told) that “we shall kill Donald Trump”, but surelly the people in the Iranian leadership who have come up with and are deploying the very successful strategy of attacking American and Israeli interests in the Middle East and turning American allies against America, are well aware of the role of Donald Trump in repeatedly putting his foot on the obvious trap and seriously amplifying the damage of it.
I mean, for all they, like almost all American Presidents in the XX and XXI century, were murderous sociopaths, imagine if it was Obama, Reagan or even Bush (well, Senior, maybe not Junior) in this situation (for the sake of simplificity, imagine that it was already ongowing when they got the job): I very much doubt their handling of it would be this incompetent, out of control, flip-flopping obviously corrupt grift entirelly subservient to Israel.
