    I know from credible friends that the gay scene in Egypt, especially among the elites, is underground but thriving, however much the idiot dictator Sisi might want to deny it.

    I suspect the same is true in Iran, though the mullahs have been more relentless and efficient in their oppression. That doesn’t make Sisi better, just more incompetent.

      They may have given him a fake award, but that’s not enough to tell the US what to do. The federal government is responsible for the Iranians.
