Israel faces mounting outrage over allegations of rape, beatings and humiliation of international activists detained on a flotilla attempting to break its naval blockade of Gaza.
At least 67 out of the roughly 420 people detained on the flotilla trying to deliver symbolic aid to the battered Palestinian enclave were taken to the hospital after their captivity, and 12 were ultimately hospitalized, according to flotilla organizers.
Organizers said participants recounted how Israeli forces fired “rubber” bullets at them at close range, used tasers on faces and upper bodies, and threw stun grenades into groups. Other allegations included being forced to hold stress positions for hours, women having their hijabs forcibly removed and enduring “humiliating strip searches, sexual taunting, groping and pulling of genitals and multiple counts of rape.” Anal rape and “forcible penetration by a handgun” were also among the allegations.

As always “The West” is actually just the US. And India apparently, that was happy to largely replace most of the European country sanctions.

I think only Ireland and Spain are putting real pressure on Israel, Italy just renewed a 5 year weapons contract then claimed they won’t renew it anymore (meaningless gesture, as they will still sell weapons). most EU countries are materially supporting the Israel genocide. Some more than others.
Which weapon contract was renewed by Italy? Do you have any source of that claim? If you refer to the memorandum between Italy and Israel that was suspended. There was no renewal for 2026.

Last time I checked, India one of the major emerging supplier of wartime materials to Israel is full of brown people. Maybe is about religion, not skin color.
