I’m assuming here that if the lever is privatized, the only occupants of the train are exceedingly wealthy. It’s a shame for the train, but seems a worthy sacrifice.

There are no bad trains, only bad passengers.
Is it worth killing a train to kill the passengers then the ends don’t justify the means can’t we just use nerve gas or shoot them up or something or pull them out bodily and take them apart at a hospital and donate all their organs without anesthetic and exterminate their lines without hurting any innocent little trolleys
