The most communicative cat I’ve had was aware that I didn’t want her to touch the blinds and would rush over and swoop her up if she played with them (no thank you, my love, blinds are danger!) So if she really wanted my attention while I was busy with something, she would meow loudly while reaching for them with one paw and maintaining eye contact with me.
Funfact did you know those types of blinds are famous for killing cats? They get tangled in them rather easily!
