Hi folks I have been hanging around here for quite a while. I was wondering if any of you know a music player that supports auto-highlighting lyrics like monochrome.tf . I have tried strawberry and fooyin but I have not got lyrics working properly. Thanks for your suggestions ( I hope this is on-topic, if not I’d be happy to remove it)

I was unfortunately not able to get Feishin to get audio out, will see what’s the issue but I’m enjoying LRCGET for now :)

EDIT: I had accidentally muted audio in Feishin lol and I was playing around with pavucontrol. Still figuring out how to get synced lyrics working though

EDIT2: Done , got synced lyrics yay!

If you have Jellyfin, the player and the website does offer LRC style highlighting.
On Android there is Symfonium which can does the same.

I’ve never used such a feature, but I know that my favorite player, Quod Libet, has an included plugin called “Synchronized Lyrics” that uses .lrc files and you can set the color and font size of the lyrics. It also has a plugin called “Karaoke” that is supposed to remove main vocals from audio. I’m honestly not sure how that last one works, sounds like sorcery.

I tried feishin, by installing navidrome ( didn’t know about that earlier ) after some googling I learnt you had to get lyrics using LRCGET and embed them into flacs using lrcput. As @[email protected] has mentioned I’m using LRCGET now :)
