    Among other things: the global perception of the US sunk to unprecedented lows, below even China. The US’s most steadfast allies have all rejected requests for support. This is a different world now and it’s uncertain whether the US can regain its prior standing.

      It won’t for a few generations, and that’s only if we at least attempt to bring the architects to justice and go after MAGA and its supporters like the Nazis they are. If we fail to hold the common people who approve of and endorse this it’ll just be Reconciliation 2.0, they’ll stew in their hate and plan for their next overthrow.

        It is refreshing to hear that there are some Americans who understand that.

        International relations with the US don’t automatically become awesome after Trump is out of power (regardless how that exit happens).

        You guys need to fix the stuff he broke, punish his co-conspirators and fix the systems that allowed someone like Trump gain the power to do what he has done.

        That is going to take longer than a single reasonable president’s term.

        The rest of the world needs to be able to trust that the USA won’t go down this road again.
