The United Nations General Assembly has voted to recognise the enslavement of Africans during the transatlantic slave trade as “the gravest crime against humanity”, a move advocates hope will pave the way for healing and justice.

The resolution - proposed by Ghana - called for this designation, while also urging UN member states to consider apologising for the slave trade and contributing to a reparations fund. It does not mention a specific amount of money.

The proposal was adopted with 123 votes in favour and three against - the United States, Israel and Argentina.

Countries like the UK have long rejected calls to pay reparations, saying today’s institutions cannot be held responsible for past wrongs.

take responsibility for once. stop trying to compare you and the us to the conditions of exploited third world countries you know absolutely nothing about. a fraction of usians are seeing a fraction the consequences of not caring about what they do to us for a century.

And in the end billions of euros

what a joke. you lobby hard to destroy our economy and environment then pretend sending few millions to the corrupt politicians you propagandized into power for just that is anything but bribery.

fuck you and your country. i’m done talking to fascists.

my brother in christ, how does europe keep africa economically stunted? how does the us keep south america submissive?

do you literally not know you force them onto your own currency, or keep bombing or sanctioning the fuck out of us if we refuse to follow your shitty rules that keeps us down, or is that just fascist dissimulation?

is the fact your globally-reaching openly nazi media willingly spreading fascist rhetoric and shadowbanning any antifascism worldwide not a clue at all?

LMAO well currently i could be iranian, venezuelan or palestinian, there has been threats to colombians especially but the entirety of south america, really.

and i was counting only the ones you currently bomb, and none of the other tragedies you induce.

now about forcing others into your currency is where europeans shine, you are aware half of africa have a currency and economy completely controlled by you right? like openly so?

you could literally fucking look all of this up.

sure, but I am not american, so my country has never bombed iran, venezuela or palestine, so I guess all this is irrelevant. If you are referring to the CFA franc I am not French either.
