Russia’s dwindling birth rate has been one of President Vladimir Putin’s main worries during his 25-year rule and with Moscow having sent hundreds of thousands of young men to the front in Ukraine over the last four years, the problem has only worsened.

    Considering this is an issue that’s affecting many countries, I expect to see this here in the US soon, too.

      russia’s case is more severe in that they have a severe alcohol problem amongst the population, plus lack of replenishement since ww2, and of course sending any and all males to die in ukraine+ the ones fleeing russia. much different from places like korea, china and japan where people are overworked to death.

          Yes, that’s what all this demographic collapse fear mongering stems from.

          It’s actually really easy to support an aging population, you allow immigration.
