A British woman was shot dead by her father last year after the pair had argued about President Donald Trump earlier that day. Lucy Harrison, 23, was fatally shot on Jan. 10, 2025 while visiting her father, Kris Harrison, in suburban Dallas at his home in Prosper, Texas. Harrison moved to the U.S. when Lucy was a child.
Prosper police originally investigated her death as a possible case of manslaughter, but a criminal case in Texas was not brought after a grand jury in Collin County opted not to indict him. Her death is being investigated in Cheshire Coroner’s Court in England.
Statments like this are so baffling because I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic.

I doubt it. I’m a US citizen and speak the US version of English. I understood your meaning, but it sounds like you think he will ever realize he did something wrong.
This man, by his own admission, took his daughter into his bedroom to “try to reconcile with her,” and somehow in the next 15 minutes his pistol, which was in his bedroom not a common room of his, presumably ranch/rambler style home, appeared in his hand. At some point the Glock handgun that he owned “went off,” on its own accord, as he claims he didn’t have his finger on the trigger. If this gun were not a Glock, I might believe that. Glocks don’t have hair triggers. You have to squeeze with your entire hand to pull the trigger on a Glock, and they don’t go off accidentally.
Beyond all of that, no responsible gun owner has their guns loaded at all times. I grew up all over but spent a lot of time in IN, KY, PA, and OH. I met a LOT of militia members thanks to my friend’s parents. These people keep guns. They also may have some ammo. The guns and the ammo aren’t laying around combined, they aren’t even in the same safe.
This man knowingly premeditated murdered his daughter by even touching his gun while he was inebriated. The fact that he got away with it is just an indication of how broken our punishment system is.
He’s NEVER going to “snap out” of it. He is in the worst echo chamber there is to claim he was justified.
Edit: I’m a US citizen, a Life Scout, the son and grandson of multiple US Veterans, and US Navy Veteran, myself. I’m familiar with my guns. Heck, I own a small arsenal, but it is in Indiana in my parent’s land, and I live in California. I would need a serious reason to go dig up Matrix levels of weaponry. My crossbows are more than I need, and unlikely to be misused, as most people wouldn’t be able to even cock the bow or load the bolt.
