So I moved to the island of Corfu last year because my grandparents had a house here and rent was ridiculous in Toronto… in a year since I’ve been here I’ve bottle fed 16 kittens which were abandoned or thrown in garbage bins ( I have more photos of all) 7 which unfortunately didnt make it …because when they’re that young and they don’t have their mother’s milk they most of the time fade. Anyway, I am rambling the government hasn’t put any funds aside for trap and release this year at all and there’s going to be a lot of cats that die this winter. I already have exhausted my funds trying to do everything I can and now I have 14 cats (5 before the kittens and 9 kittens that survived) all of my cats are sterilised obviously out of my own pocket I want to go save them all… I just can’t …but I want to do more so I started a fundraiser campaign but I’m a fucking loner who lives on a Greek island with now 14 cats 🫠so I don’t really know how to get it any traction so I can at least start helping more cats. So hopefully nobody trolls me and somebody can give me a hand with this. :)

Edit** So moderator reached out to me and because “somebody”doesn’t think that this is real, they asked that I removed the link to donate. even though that the moderator-said I could put the link in the first place after I sent some proof they now want me to post for a couple of weeks about the cats I’ve rescued before being allowed to post a donation link again. So what I’m gonna do starting tomorrow is post about each group of cats that I’ve rescued and now live with me personally and their journeys… and once I build up community and trust, I’ll be allowed to post a donation link again.     Man I hate to be that guy but there’s three cats in the first pic, two dark and one white and dark, and in the second pic there’s four cats, two grey striped and two black and white.

    I’m sure this is legit and all, but when people straight up ask for money…

    The mods received proof of some kind? I’d need some more verification for certain, this is not enough reason to send anyone money.

          You saw the post right with the story of the garbage cats… I also went back into the fundraiser and fixed what AI wrote; I’m sure the link is still in your browser somewhere go have a look and let me know what you think. I’m not going to post the donation link again in respect to what the mod skyler asked until I’m given permission again after posting about the cats currently in my care and with the 45$ that’s been donated already I’m looking to make my first TRN to a cat I named bread next week. See below screen shots removed my friend’s name and picture for privacy.

          I am completely willing to be completely transparent with everything I do to try and help any stray animal that means from taking pictures of the trapping to taking pictures after the neutering the releasing the receipts from the vet anything that’s needed. I just want to help.

            Why do you need $100K? What will you do with that money? It says on your page that it’s “potentially” going to be used for some kind of cat sanctuary. What kind of documentation will you provide to show what you do with the money? Do you have actual documents or something you can show that can be verified instead of a bunch of cat videos? I can get a dozen cat videos myself and put them up and write a sob story, people literally do this shit all the time.

            Sorry for being suspicious, but no, I’m not. I’ve seen this before. Show all the receipts, be transparent, and I’ll donate myself.

            I am not after you, I am after scammers in general, and if you can prove your intentions, then sure we’ll donate. Otherwise, it sounds a lot like a scam.

              I can get receipts of what I already spent on the cats I’ve rescued from my vet but I’m not asking for donations for that. I’m asking for donations to help other cats. The cats that I’ve kept are my responsibility now financially I’ll cover them. But I can’t afford to help anymore cats than I already have which is where the fundraiser comes in. When I trap bread next week and have him done I’ll provide all the receipts.

              Edit: Also I respect the not after me part and after scammers which is why I’m trying to be as responsive and abiding as I can. Like I said I just wanna help these poor little things. It’s also why I included videos of myself feeding the cats and even sent my actual government ID to skyler which matches the fundraiser…

I’m gonna accomplish what I need to do, if there’s motherfuckers on the Internet asking for donations for stupid stupid shit I think getting a community together to help some poor innocent animals isn’t such a horrible thing.       No, you’re right. It is AI generated completely real need to raise funds but the whole blurb is a eye generated it when you create an account with them they ask if you want an AI generated one and clearly I’m not too good at getting my thoughts down correctly. So I just put some bullet points of what I want to do and what I’m doing and that’s kind of what it came up with. Also, I wanted to set it for 10,000 not 100,000 to begin with. My post more build rapport do some time stamping with my posts and hopefully we can do something to help more cats than I’ve already helped
