I firmly believe that COVID lockdowns have broken us. The social distancing, the lack of negative social feedback for abhorrent behaviour, even for a short period of time, has emboldened the worst of humanity to stop giving even that tiny fuck they previously gave.

Yes, tons of people today are now so self-absorbed that they can’t even fathom thinking of others even for a millisecond. Everything is about “what about me?”, and even the mere suggestion that they consider others just for a moment angers them.

We really failed as a society when we stopped telling these fuckers to fuck off.
