I’ve mainly seen this with superscript notation not being recognized, but I assume there are other differences between Lemmy markdown and what Boost uses.

    His latest post of from 5 months ago, and the last one before that is from about 10 months ago. That makes me suspect the pace of development is slow, but we’re probably due for another update fairly soon.

      He was never very responsive, even on Reddit. Still though, it is starting to kind of feel like a cash grab.

      Or maybe he died, who knows.

        A freelancer selling their work for money seems like a weird thing to refer to as a cash grab.

        Of course development is gonna be slower after supporting Reddit become non-viable; he instantly lost most of his potential future income from the project, and I assume he’s too busy paying his bills to devote much time to what is essentially just a hobby project in a field with a lot of competition. Maybe I’ll jump ship to get a more up-to-date Lemmy client, but for now it’s still the best one I know of, so I’ve gotten my money’s worth already.
