My rule is that I only tip for table service, where it’s already factored into the servers’ wages.
I refuse to enable even more companies to shirk the responsibility of paying their employees a fair wage.
It’s really sad to me that Americans get put in the awful position of choosing between tipping, which supports the low wages, and taking responsibility for ensuring another human being has a living wage. It’s just such a terrible position for a consumer to be placed in, having to make ethical and moral choices about how much money to pay for goods and services.
Wouldn’t it only allow numerical values and give you the keypad instead of the full keyboard?
Judging by how many numerical fields on mobile websites still give me the full keyboard, maybe not.
