I feel like it depends on the beach. Haven’t been to French one’s, but I’d bet there were some touristy ones that get slammed with people. Those make sense for this. Now, some of the quieter more locals only kinda beaches that people are able to spread out more, that’s probably fine to keep… but that’s going to be a hard distinction to make clear rules on.

As someone who lives in America, I don’t understand how anyone DOES NOT think it’s offensive and threatening and a horrible stance for a president to have. But the ones that don’t think it’s a big deal is how we got where we are and I’m disappointed in my country… again.

Looking at the stock markets, I feel like the cost of him vacationing (and taking Vance with him) cost would be cheaper on the avg American tax payer’s retirement account than another round of tariffs.
I guess he bought enough shares of Apple now that he drove the stock price down. Way to manipulate the market for your buddies.

To be fair, the last time I was there, the beer was cold and refreshing, the tits were adequately plump and on display, the waitress owning them was punctual and friendly, the order was accurate and the wings were pretty darn tasty.
But I’d much rather go to my local brewery or small restaurant down the street, support local and small business owners, and enjoy a smaller and cozier setting. There’s just so many other options, picking a chain like Hooters isn’t really something that happens often.

I feel like Trump’s entire point to this is literally to make the US more isolated and self-sufficient. While I get the point of the latter, this whole charade is making it very clear that the US should NEVER be trusted going forward. If such sweeping changes can be made by one deranged man’s pen, every 4 years the US could instantly change all posture and break every agreement on a whim. The US multi-tiered “checks and balances” do not work and no one will know what the US will do, near term or long term. This sends a clear message of “don’t do any deals with us”. Stability is NOT the US way in the slightest.
No one understands how he thinks… or if he thinks.
It should never be just “we want to have a child so we will”. That’s self centered, short sighted and irresponsible.
Anyone looking to have children should think through at the minimum:
To bring a child into a bad environment, with no time or money to spend on the child, is to bring the child into this world setup for failure and would only put a drain on the system, the resources, the climate, the relatives, etc.
People are choosing (in Japan and elsewhere around the world) to not have children because of the less than favorable conditions outlined above, and many others.
