I switched to GrapheneOS like 4 years ago and at first I was bummed that I could no longer tap my phone to pay. But it’s fine. I still go out with my wallet in my pocket, so it’s no problem to just tap my bank card really… I’ll take privacy over convenience thanks

Ahh thanks for that clarification. That makes more sense. I suppose I’m combined type too. Was likely more evident when I was younger. These days my “hyperactivity” presents as hyperfocus whereas I would climb the walls as a kid.

Not sure that constitutes AuDHD… I’m inattentive ADHD with a tendency to hyperfocas on things that I’m really interested in. It’s worse if I’ve taken my meds too because then I’m locked in, hunter is suppressed… I literally don’t need food when I’m working on something I love.

I cannot answer definitively, but it’s highly unlikely that windows could access any data from your Linux partition. That said, if you’re that concerned about the potential for this to happen, perhaps your shouldn’t use windows at all. This is coming from a PC gamer who uses Linux exclusively.

Well, I use Void Linux, Fedora, and NetBSD. All for different purposes. I just love the freedom to modify my system 'till my heart’s content. I’m generally a tiling WM (sdorfehs) on laptops and openbox/lxde on desktop.

It’s true that, for people who don’t have ADHD, the meds used to treat it can be misused for ‘recreational purposes’. For people with ADHD however, is not a party drug. Infact, it has the opposite effect’s (generally).

That’s a valid point. Although I’d add that, as you get older, it’s not only the significance of the stimuli that increases, but the overall levels of stimuli increases. More responsibilities, more burdens, more stress, and less likely to be given any concessions due to being young.

I think I’m able to say now that I’m a seasoned Linux user, possibly even an advanced user. But, I’m still considering replacing windows 11 on my gaming PC with bazzite. Just because it’s easy mode, doesn’t make it inferior in any way. I’m not suggesting that’s what your inferring, just felt like chiming in

The Gnome browser (epiphany?) is actually quite good. But when I’m on windows I use Zen. On GrapheneOS I use IronFox.

I also recently tested Ladybird. It’s still not usable for daily use, but I’m excited for it.
