That is a very linear way to view things. Past elections were not a single line. They were more like a triangle a highly skewed to the right triangle, but a triangle non the less. The actual far right was heavily siding with dictators.

That is an old myth. There are less viruses for Linux because there are less users. But if you do things like install priated games, you have the same risk as on windows

You know how many of the programs you used to use are not available because they don’t make a Linux version? Well a lot of the ones that do you shouldn’t use even though the distro supports it for reasons you don’t understand”

In general o disagree with your stance on a basically semantic reasons: the definition of a trusted source. If I trust a software manufacturer and they tell me to use their flatpak, it’s fine because they are trusted, regardless of the format. What I do not like are things like the AUR

I don’t know your use cases. For me, if it can’t be fixed with ventoy, I use the raspberry pi imager. Not the same options but I find that between both of those, I can handle everything I need
