The Italian frigate was only dispatched to provide rescue operations in the likely case that Israel will continue attacking the aid ships. The frigate was dispatched by the Minster of Defense Crosetto who is in the same right wing party as Meloni, so it’s very unlikely that they would risk escalation. The cynic in me believes it’s actually to save skin for Israel since they know Israel can’t help themselves from blowing up civilians, and the ship would just help them from getting killed.
The Spanish one, from the declarations seems to be more ready to engage in actual defense, and the PM seems to be more more critical of the Israeli attacks. Ideally, they should be shooting down any drones coming nearby.
Fascism is a disease that spread rapidly in last century: 10-15 years. Imagine how fast it can spread in a world with Internet, cars, airplanes and trains. No place is safe

I hope the entire world’s eyes are by this point open to the hypocrisy of the West. Kneecap and Bob Vylan being labeled outrageous or on trial for terrorism for… words, while weapons shipments continue to flow to the IDF, Netanyahu (with an arrest warrant for war crimes) flies through EU airspace unhindered, and the bombing of civilians in Gaza generates less news than a chant at a concert. Absolutely disgusting.
I’m sure that neutrality and both side arguments are perfectly acceptable for articles on the Holocaust, Armenian genocide, Native American genocide, flat earth and climate denialism, right? The article already cites 500 sources, mostly in favor of the genocide label, but we should give more credit to the Israeli government and the Western colonial powers that created it?? Fuck neutrality, and fuck anyone who supports it.
