Cats stereotypically love tuna.
No cat in the history of cats has ever swam out to sea and caught their own tuna. No member of family felidae, extant or extinct, has ever achieved that.

What are you doing, step user?
I like the wrappy tail. I grew up with a cat who would sit down and then she’d wrap her tail neatly across her toes, reminded me of one of those 90’s automatic shoulder harnesses in cars the way her tail moved.

I’ve had one longhair my entire life and he wasn’t too bad; he needed weekly brushing, more during the shedding seasons, and he’d get matts under his armpits and around the base of his tail. He was pretty good about it though. Otherwise I’ve had shorthairs; I brush my current cat mostly as an anti-hairball exercise.

Have you tried one of those grooming mitts?

Oh yeah, I forgot, no white men have ever been drafted to serve in US military history.

On a human, we have shoulders, upper back, middle back, lower back and ass. On a cow, these are called Chuck, Rib, Top Loin, Loin and Round.
Both critters have muscles that run parallel to the spine. Ribeyes come from the rib primal, and are more tender and have a richer more buttery flavor. Go assward past the top loin primal where T-bones come from and you arrive at the Loin primal where we get among other things sirloin steaks, which compared to ribeyes are chewier but bring a more meaty, beefy flavor.

After about a decade on Mint I ended up on Fedora.

Yes, and you know I am, they signed me up for the draft.

Funnily enough, it wasn’t complicated at all for me to register to vote in the state of North Carolina. I’ll never forget it.
I turned 18, I went down to the DMV to get my motorcycle permit along with updating my teen provisional license for an adult license. I passed the simple little tests, the DMV worker asked me height, weight, eye color, hair color, address. At the time, NC licenses could have one of several state themed backgrounds; the silhouette of the state, the state seal, the Hatteras lighthouse, the Wright flyer, I picked the plane. Want to be an organ donor? Sure. And the next thing she said to me is seared into my brain:
“Okay, we’ll just register you for Selective Service…Would you like to register to vote?”
So here’s what you do to register to vote in the state of North Carolina. When a woman in a weird half-cop uniform working at the DMV asks you if you wanna, you say “Y-Yeah.” and “Which party?” Say “Uhh. Independent?”
I’ve voted in every election, maybe not every primary but every election, since that day.

Reminds me of a joke, A Texan and a Carolinian rancher meet in a bar. The Texan says “Yessir, it takes me two days to drive my pickup truck across my ranch.” The Carolinian says “Yeah I had a truck like that, but I got it fixed.”

I live in Suburban North Carolina, I haven’t locked my house in years.

Which is why I said “or endorsed by”. Fedora’s Discover points to their own .rpm repo, their own flatpak repo, and Flathub. Including Flathub out of the box says “We the distro maintainers trust Flathub.”

I look at it this way: The repository is hosted by, or endorsed by, the developers of the distro. If you don’t trust their software repository, why would you trust the distro itself?

Flying the Stars and Stripes upside down is a distress call. And at least in my neck of the woods, authorities will respond to it; on occasion the students at high schools tasked with hoisting the flag in the morning will sometimes attach it upside down, and police or fire show up to ask what’s wrong.
Tuna are giant fish that live far off shore. Cats are known to fish but they won’t land a tuna any more than a dolphin.
