The Iranian government is a bunch of assholes of the highest order, but I harbor no hate for the Iranian people — particularly those most vulnerable. I’m sure there will be accusations of human shields, but both Israel and my own country have done everything possible to undermine confidence in their good-faith efforts to minimize civilian casualties. I watch these events with horror for the innocent and at the actions being carried out in my name and with money taxed from my own pocket.
