I’m starting to feel collectively ashamed for “The West” that this war still isn’t over. Please hold tight, I’m sure we’ll get there!
We, “The West” have been feeding the Chinese model - totalitarian capitalism, extremely cheap mass products - for ages.
I understand that to US Americans China seems like the better alternative right now, and maybe it is, but not by much - and long term, it may very well turn out to be the worse alternative, especially considering that they are expanding their influence. Not only in SA btw, they’re everywhere: car factories and large harbors in the EU, huge infrastructure projects in African countries, etc.
Because the USA are going to collapse one way or another in the not-too-distant future, and what then? A stronger EU/Canada/NATO or China/Russia/India (ok that’s a bit simplistic)?
Yeah, basically every time I meet a young’un watching TikTok I hear Putin’s voice saying “SATAN”.

Solange Leute eine 100% Drop-in Lösung suchen, ohne anfänglichen Reibungsverlust, wird das nie was.

Hull ist etwas östlich des Englischen Ruhrgebiets Manchester/Leeds; ich schätze mal dass es da letztendlich dazugehört. Kohle und Schwerindustrie im Rückzug und so.
Der Artikel bietet mir nichts Neues oder ungehörtes, es ist aber natürlich immer gut zu wissen dass es gar nicht so schwer ist gegen faschistisches Grooming anzuarbeiten bzw. dem Alternativen zu bieten.

Great article, but you could’ve gone deeper into the modern ramifications. I feel you cut that short, just after mentioning the Zuckerborg - there would have been so much more to get into.
You should also have clarified that you’re talking about Linux as a consumer device OS; most of the internet and probably some social media giants run Linux or UNIX-like OSs, too.
And that Linux is not equivalent to FOSS, nor is the EFF.
